So... Who Is Nigel Webb?
Married father of two, Nigel Webb has a zest for life and an unusual sense of humour which can show in his approach to photography. His work is a labour of love borne from years of web designing and a disinclination to use 'stock' images. Finally the photography has taken over.
As a new and up and coming photographer, Nigel's style is still evolving, something he sees as a positive aspect of his work, "...if you stop evolving you stop creating." Nigel enthuses. "Like any good photographer I am adaptable but, if pushed on particular styles, I love to see harsh shadows and high contrast in most of my images; lively vibrant and fresh. Portraiture on the other hand is a little different; I tend to lean towards softer tones; more subtle images with shallow depths of field."
Nigel also loves macro photography and shooting in his studio: " A controlled environment allows me to set up exactly the shots I want giving me optimum creativity."
